You can do business online and offline. Offline being that you carry out your business without staring at the computer screen all day long. Now this doesn’t mean you can bring your offline business online, you can and it is good, but in this article, we are looking at those businesses that don’t depend on the internet to survive.
The areas you can do business offline are numerous like food and drinks, insurance, sales, banking, accounting, finance, business management, administrative management, human resources etc. When you hear of business, I know your thoughts immediately go to big corporation, big companies, large industries and the like. But there are many small and medium scale enterprises that one can start and make money.
I will be concentrating on business you can start with little cash. Yes little cash and you don’t need an MBA in business administration to start them. You don’t need any kind of degree at all, just know what you want and be passionate about it. You need to know that you have to spend something when you are starting a business. Some teach that you don’t have to spend a dime to start a business, that’s not entirely true. Even if you make a call for someone to supply you with goods on credit and after selling, you pay the money, the credit you consumed for the call is money. But don’t be scared, it doesn’t mean your businesses will cost an arm and a leg to start, no.
Money is not the most important requirement to have. Sure you’ll invest money but you’ll invest TIME more. Especially in the beginning you will spend a lot of time to get your business off the ground. Examples of businesses that will make you millions offline are: Selling food stuff, selling water, making business cards, making other graphic designs like calendars, posters, shining shoes for people, selling cookies, selling children’s toys, selling slippers, selling second hand clothes, selling books and others.
You can also start a service-based business. Like washing cars, dry cleaning business, babysitting, washing carpets and rugs, window blind cleaning and others. Look around your vicinity or community. What do they need? What will they pay to have? Give it to them and you’ll make money.
